Childrens Fitness

As I am sure you are aware, there is a moving trend towards obesity in our nation and particularly in children. Research shows that children that are overweight are generally less active than their normal weight peers.

For those of you that are lucky enough to have children that enjoy being active then I can provide the training that will be specific to their goals.

I am a qualified Childrens Fitness Specialist with an organisation called the American Fitness Professionals Association www.afpafitness.com and I would like to provide your child with an exercise programme that will be:

Enjoyable - I have a huge variety of equipment and exercises to make improving fitness fun and specific to their needs.

Educational - giving advice in nutrition and making healthy lifestyle choices,enabling them to be independent in managing their own fitness.


      


Successful - so that your child can clearly define their progress, be it weight loss, strength, improving body shape or sports specific.

Improve their self-esteem.

Safe - Children of differing ages and abilities have different needs and certain types of exercises may be harmful ie. strength training can hinder or stop bone growth in the pre-teen.
